Castle Acre, Norfolk, UK
Penny and Greg
Capturing this pre-wedding shoot amidst the historic ruins of Castle Acre was an incredible experience. As a Norfolk wedding photographer, I am always drawn to locations that tell a story, and the towering earthworks and ancient stone walls of this English Heritage site provide a backdrop of epic proportions.
We spent the session exploring the textured ruins and the surrounding valley, focusing on a documentary approach that allowed the couple to simply 'be' in the landscape. The contrast between the soft, intimate moments and the dramatic, weathered stone created a gallery that feels both timeless and cinematic.
An engagement shoot at Castle Acre offers a unique blend of heritage and nature, perfect for couples who want their portraits to have a sense of history and scale. Explore the highlights from this session to see how we utilized the light and architecture of one of Norfolk's most iconic landmarks.
